The Deer's Head Inn is your go-to Adirondack eatery, dedicated to providing the best in local and regional cuisine with a high-low philosophy built around accessibility, freshness, and seasonal delights.

What do we mean when we say high-low?  We mean that we'll always have a two buck can of beer to chase your meticulously crafted Hudson Valley bourbon.  We mean you can accompany our rotating creative features with comfort food staples all prepared with the freshest, locally sourced ingredients - and everything's served up with a distinct lack of pretense.   We mean substitutions, gluten-phobia, high-carb, low-carb, paleolithic, and kid-size portions are not only tolerated but welcomed.  We mean a game of eight-ball pairs nicely with a filet mignon -  and if you want a fried egg on that, just ask!

Everything we serve has been thoughtfully considered and carefully prepared. And we couldn't talk reasonably about our food and drink without a shout-out to the insanely proficient local farms and producers that provide much of our offerings.  How about Juniper Hill's produce and Asgaard Farm's cheese? What about North Country Creamery's yogurt and Grist Mill's Adirondack apple brandy? Donahue Farm's beef and Battenkill cream?  Sugar House's cheeses, Hub-on-the-Hill's pickles, Reber Rock chicken. Local tacticians like Rick and Leslee behind the bar. And local wizards Zach and Wyatt backstage. Plus local crafts, furniture, and music. And more to come.
